You can enter all contests; we just ask that SPAACSE be allowed to use your work for its website and educational purposes. We will give you credit and notify you of all usage.

Congratulations to Jim Sands of Brooklyn, New York, our first SPAACSE Member Contest winner! We wanted to know what our members would say if they were lucky enough to be the first person to set foot on the Martian terrain. Jim's to-the-point answer was "I Am the First... Many Will Follow!"

Give us a written account (double-spaced please) of your imaginary dream vacation in space. What was your destination (orbiting space hotel,lunar hotel, etc.)? What were the accomodations like? What types of guest activities and events were offered? How was the view? The food? Who were some of the other guests? Be creative--entries can be humorous or dramatic (or both).

Give us a fictional account of your day, starting from when you wake upin the morning to when you go to sleep at night. Include a series of events in which you encounter / use various aerospace spinoff technologies. You can write this from a child or adult perspective, and entries can use humor (i.e. you can have a VERY BUSY day, even outrageous!). Use as many spinoffs as you can in the storyline. Please underline each spinoff or mark it in bold text. Feel free to include photocopies of research information. These entries will be used to help us prepare presentations for schools / the general public.
